What is injection lipolysis? Injection lipolysis—also known to the public as fat-removal injections—is a form of therapy that uses injection treatments to melt fat from various body regions. The active ingredient was discovered in 1959 and is used in many medical therapies, for example, as a liver protection agent and to prevent fat embolisms. Who is injection lipolysis suitable for? Injection lipolysis is used to melt small, stubborn fat deposits that cannot be eliminated through dietary changes and exercise. Unlike surgical removal through liposuction, the body does not change quickly, but rather in a slower process that can last up to six months. Who is injection lipolysis not suitable for? Injection lipolysis is not used to reduce weight. For this, a suitable diet is the more appropriate method. How does the treatment work? The active ingredient is injected directly into the fatty tissue using the finest needles. The effect can begin after just 10-14 days.
